Chamizal National Memorial’s bookstore offers one-stop shopping for unique items representative of the border region culture and style. The Chamizal National Memorial Bookstore is operated by Western National Parks Association, a private, non-profit organization, whose mission is to promote preservation of the national park system and its resources by creating greater public appreciation through interpretation, education, and research.
WNPA operates 62 bookstores at national parks and monuments in the western United States. Net proceeds are used to support the interpretive and research programs of the parks. Did You Know?
The Mexican flag is flown at Chamizal National Memorial out of respect for the sentiments that made the Chamizal Convention of 1963 a reality. The U.S. flag will always be on the left as you face the Memorial.
