ORegon Budget Information Tracking System (ORBITS)
The ORBITS Project is a section within BAM that is focused on developing the statewide budget system. State agencies, BAM, and the Legislative Fiscal Office used the first release of ORBITS to develop the 2003-05 budget. The latest ORBITS release (released in March 2004) includes current biennium revenues and expenditures at a budgetary level, as well as narrative to produce major budget publications. The next phase of the project will integrate the state’s budget and accounting systems to allow improved state financial analysis and administration.
