Director William Crockett of Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts invites the public to review a proposed project to construct an addition to the outdoor patio at the Encore Circle building. We welcome your input on the project. An Environmental Assessment has been posted for public comment. The public comment period closes on March 31, 2007.To view information about this project, to get park contact information, and to make comments on-line, please click here to go to the PEPC web page. On this web page, go to "Choose a park" and scroll down to Wolf Trap. Choose the project "Encore Circle Patio Expansion" to see general information. From there, you can choose "Open for Public Comment" to view the entire document and to make comments.

Robert Gould Shaw served as a Captain in the 2nd Massachusetts Infantry and was wounded in the Cornfield at Antietam before taking command of the 54th Massachusetts Infantry made famous in the movie Glory.
