Fees & Reservations

Tent Camping
There is a $15/night tent camping fee on Elliott and Boca Chita Keys. The fee covers up to 6 people and two tents, but does not include boat transportation to the island. Boat transportation is available to Elliott Key via the park's concessionaire from November through May; a fee is charged. Reservations are not accepted for individual tent campsites, but are available for boat transportation. Call 305-230-1100 for concession information and boat transportation reservations.

If you provide your own boat transportation to Elliott or Boca Chita Key to camp, refer to the "Boat Camping/Overnight Stays" section below.

Group Tent Camping
There is a $30/night fee for group camping at the two group camping areas located on Elliott Key. Reservations required - call 305-230-1144, x3043. Dock space is available on a "1st come-1st served basis"; your group site reservation or camping fee does not guarantee you dock space.

Boat Camping/Overnight Stays -
A $20/night fee is required for overnight stays in either Elliott Key or Boca Chita Key Harbors. This fee includes the use of one campsite for up 6 people and 2 tents at no extra charge. Docking space is available on a "1st come-1st served basis"; reservations are not accepted.

Any boat in the harbor after 5:00 p.m. is required to pay an overnight fee. There is no fee for day use.

Boca Chita Pavilion Rental
The Boca Chita Key Pavilion is available for half-day rentals. A $100 rental fee covers a four-hour period of exclusive use; an additional $100 refundable deposit is required to reserve pavilion space. Docking space is available on a "1st come-1st served" basis; your rental fee or deposit does not guarantee docking space. Call 305-230-1144, x3043 to reserve the pavilion.

Boat Tours
The park concessionaire offers a variety of services, including glass bottom boat tours, snorkeling trips, SCUBA diving trips, and island excursions. A fee is charged for these services. See the Guided Tours page for pricing details.

Biscayne National Park does not have any entrance fees.

 

Senior Pass and Access Pass
Biscayne National Park issues Senior Passes to US citizens and permanent residents aged 62 or older. The one-time fee is $10, and admits the pass owner and any accompanying passengers in the same vehicle to Federal recreation areas across the nation.

The park also issues Access Passes to US citizens and permanent residents who are legally blind or permanently disabled. The free pass admits the pass owner and any accompanying passengers in the same vehicle to Federal recreation areas across the nation.

Biscayne National Park does not have an entrance fee, but visitors holding Senior or Access passes receive a 50% reduction on tent camping and boat camping/overnight stay fees. There is no fee reduction for holders of other Federal Recreation Passes.
