 NOAA Ocean Explorer: Lophelia II 2008
From Sep. 20 – Oct. 2, 2008 scientists will explore deepwater coral communities in the Gulf of Mexico. The goal is to characterize them in terms of coral habitat characteristics, biology, ecology, and genetic connectivity.
