Abstract	Bridge Division is responsible for: the design and plan preparation for bridges, culverts and overhead sign structures on the Nebraska highway system; coordinating the consultant design of bridge projects; hydraulic design of stream bridges and evaluation of the effects on the floodplain; and the steel bridge fabrication inspection. The division develops bridge management, appraisal and special plans; and bridge research, rating, permits and special loads and the Bridge Office Policies and Procedures manual (BOPP). The user can access the BOPP in PDF format and bridge CAD files in MicroStation DGN format from this site. A staff directory can be found on the web page.
