Abstract	The overall goal of the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) is to provide the public with a safe and efficient transportation system that will allow freedom of movement and provide a means of obtaining necessary goods and services. To meet this goal, a Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) is developed and published biannually. The STIP is a listing of all projects in which federal dollars will be spent for the next three years. This website links to the current STIP in PDF format.
