Abstract Hiawatha Light Rail Transit Line is the first light rail line to be built in Minnesota. When completed, it will connect three of the Twin Cities most popular destinations - downtown Minneapolis, Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and the Mall of America in Bloomington. It will be electrically powered from overhead lines. This website provides information on the project.
