Abstract	This FRA website provides access to GradeDec 2000, a decision support tool that assists federal, state, and local authority decision makers in evaluating the benefits and costs of highway-rail grade crossing upgrades, separationss, and closures. The National Highway-Rail Grade Crossing Inventory Database, GradeDec 2000, can be downloaded, along with a User's Manual and Documentation. GradeDec 2000 provides a complete benefit cost analysis of highway-rail grade crossing investments within a risk analysis framework. Dollar values are provided for full range of benefit categories including safety and environomental impacts. In addition, financial data is given for evaluating and comparing alternative investment strategies. Probability distributions are provided for model output that can be viewed in useful statistical tables and charts.
