Abstract	The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) publishes driver license data as part of the Highway Statistics series. The driver license data is provided by each state to the FHWA by age group and sex of driver. For states that do not provide data for the top age bracket of 85 years and over, the highest age bracket provided by those states is redistributed according to the census population data to create an 85 years and older category.
