Pioglitazone Asthma Clinical Trial

Patients with asthma who are taking inhaled corticosteroids may be eligible to participate in a study at the NIH Clinical Center. The purpose of this study is to determine if a widely used medication for diabetes can improve asthma. Eligible patients will receive a comprehensive evaluation at the Clinical Research Center in Bethesda, Maryland. There is no cost for participating in the study. Genetics of Asthma Research Study
|
If you have been diagnosed with asthma and allergies, you may be able to participate in an asthma genetics research study at the NIH Clinical Center. The purpose of this research is to identify genes that may be involved in the development or severity of asthma.
Eligible volunteers will undergo a comprehensive medical and pulmonary evaluation at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. There is no cost to you for medical testing and evaluation. You will receive monetary compensation for participating in the study.
