CAFFA 2008-09 Grant Information
County Assessment Function Funding Assistance (CAFFA) 2008-09 Grant Information

The Department of Revenue will continue to use the same method as last year for filing the grant document, the "file transfer protocol" (FTP).

FTP provides:
  • A secure site for counties to transfer their grant information.
  • A unique, password-protected folder.
  • A method to access all seven forms.
  • Forms that look similar to last year's forms.
  • The ability to save the forms to the county's local computer and re-open the forms, make changes, and re-save them before submitting the forms to the department.
In February, counties will receive an e-mail from the department with their user name, password, a link, and step-by-step instructions for completing grant document forms.

Counties can retrieve the grant application from the Web site. After downloading, completing, and saving the grant application on their personal computer, the CAFFA contact person should save the file to the same secure Web location. After saving/uploading the grant document, counties will retain the saved copy of the grant application on their computer for their records. At any point, the counties can open the document, review, and print it.

If it is necessary for the counties to revise any of the forms after they have been electronically submitted to the department, but before May 1, 2008, e-mail Rosemary Love at Rosemary.K.Love@state.or.us, or call 503-945-8459 (Salem).

If you have questions regarding the CAFFA grant application or the process, please e-mail Rosemary Love at Rosemary.K.Love@state.or.us, or call 503-945-8459 (Salem). If you would like more information about the CAFFA grant program, see general information about CAFFA.
