This is the XML Schema Interoperability community, previously called "Federal XML Naming and Design Rules and Guidelines". In contrast to the approach that ended in early March 2006, our current focus is to create an environment and repository for the authoring, sharing, and testing of XML Schema rules for optional use by any agency or COI. Read about the NIST Quality of Design (QOD) tool for validating schemas against rules which is the basis for our continuing work. Note that the Federal CIO Council Data Architecture Subcommittee has its own CORE.gov community for the XML Schema Interoperability Working Group approved by the DAS in July 2006.
