Your Friday at The U includes a presentation by The U's admissions staff, campus tour, lunch on campus and a one-on-one wrap-up session to answer any of your questions on getting in and getting involved at The U. Fridays at The U begin with check-in at 10:30 a.m. and conclude following the campus tour around 2 p.m. |

Saturdays at The U Jan. 17, Feb. 28, March 28 Break away on a Saturday and get to know The U. Honors Fridays at The U - November 2008 December 12, 2008 Honors Friday is a special "Fridays at The U" designed specifically for talented and highly-motivated students interested in learning more about The U's distinctive University Honors Program. Your day includes sessions on admissions procedures, undergraduate research opportunities and a special Scholarship Workshop to assist you in filling out all of those college scholarship applications. Join on this unique Saturday and find out how the Honors Program can enrich your experience at The U.

Building Bridges March 27, 2009 Celebrate your heritage at The U with a day dedicated to Native American high school students. In addition to providing information on the admissions process, scholarship opportunities and other areas of student life, the program identifies resources available to native students at The U including the Wase Wakpa community support, mentoring and networking opportunities and The U's Tiospaye or "extended family" - the Native American Student Association. The day's activities also feature a campus tour - with a stop at the Native American Institute of American Indian Studies - as well as an invitation to The U's annual wacipi (pow wow). More info |

Health Happenings & Scrubs Camp November, 2009 Discover a world of career opportunities in health sciences. We'll start with a keynote speaker, followed by breakout sessions on a wide range of health science career topics, the Health Sciences Fair, meeting faculty members and gathering information on admissions, scholarships and financial aid. You'll end the day with a tour of campus or the Sanford Vermillion Medical Center. |
