Flood Event Review

Moderate to heavy rain fell across the Missouri Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas Saturday night, February 16 into early Sunday, February 17, 2008.  Rainfall amounts of one to two inches were common with localized amounts near three inches. This rainfall resulted in flooding of small streams, numerous low water crossings, county roads, and some state highways.
