I have had the honor of serving in the United States House of Representatives since December of 1995. I am a member of the Appropriations Committee, and serve on its State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs subcommittee as well as the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies subcommittee and the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Subcommittee.
