Welcome to King County's Department of Executive Services (DES).

I am pleased to introduce you to our department and the services we provide to the residents of King County. DES provides a variety of services, such as vehicle/marriage/ animal licensing, voters registration and elections, emergency and disaster planning, civil rights enforcement, cable, data and voice communication, employment, risk management services and lobbyist registration. Additionally we manage the county procurement process and receive property tax payments.
