The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board will meet on Monday, July 9, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. via telephone conference call to take action on the following:
 
  1. Delegate authority to the Executive Director to distribute Measure 66 Lottery funds and Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Funds specifically allocated by the Legislature to a particular entity or use for the 2007-2009 biennium. [PDF ]
 
  1. Approve allocation of $500,000 in capital funds to maintain Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) needs until the September 2007 Board meeting.  [PDF ]
 
  1. Approve allocation of funding to assist in the implementation of provisional funding requirements for watershed councils ranked in the “Needs Improvement” merit category as determined by the Board at its May meeting.  [PDF ]
 
All three action items will be presented to the Board to expedite the initial distribution of funds needed at the beginning of the 2007-2009 biennium.
 
Board members will participate in this meeting by telephone from multiple locations.  The public may attend this meeting at the location listed above.  Members of the public may comment only on the agenda items listed above during a public comment period at the beginning of the meeting.  The Board encourages persons to limit comments to no more than five minutes.
