Non-Motorized Improvements

This program promotes safe walkway routes for school-age children and the walking public by designing and constructing new pathways, linking existing pathways, and improving walkway routes along unincorporated County roadways. These pathways enhance the livability of our communities by assisting communities and neighborhoods to encourage safe pedestrian and bicycling activity. School pathway projects are selected in coordination with school districts in unincorporated King County.
