Get involved with SASO

Now is the best time to contribute to the SASO effort during its planning and implementation. SASO has continually involved all levels of AFS employees (field, region, headquarters) in planning and developing SASO, including interviews and observations for the collection of data on current processes, and validation of findings. AFS employees – including managers, supervisors, and non-management employees – will continue to be involved in the evolution of SASO.

Additionally, the SASO Outreach Team, which is comprised of over 30 FAA employees who work in various disciplines within AFS, conducted over 110 office briefings throughout all regions in 2007. The Outreach Team continues to provide valuable input to the SASO program, and communicates the goals and status of SASO pilot projects to the field.
