...High wind warning in effect from 3 am to 3 pm akdt thursday for
turnagain arm and the hillside...
Tonight... A chance of rain in the evening...then rain likely
after midnight. Lows in the 40s. Light winds becoming southeast 5 to
20 mph after midnight. Along turnagain arm and higher elevations... East wind 15 to 30 mph increasing to 35 to 50 mph with gusts to 75
toward morning.
Thursday... Rain likely. Highs in the 50s. East wind 10 to 25 mph. Gusts to 45 mph in the afternoon...mainly south anchorage. Along
turnagain arm and higher elevations...east wind 40 to 55 mph with
gusts to 75 mph on the hillside and to 85 mph along turnagain arm.
Thursday Night... Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Lows in
the upper 30s to mid 40s. East wind 10 to 20 mph. Gusts to 40 mph in
the evening...mainly south anchorage. Along turnagain arm and the
hillside...east wind 30 to 45 mph with gusts to 60 mph decreasing to
15 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph after midnight.
Friday... Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs in the
upper 40s to mid 50s. East wind 5 to 15 mph.
Friday Night... Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Lows around
40. Light winds.
Saturday... Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs 45 to 55.
Saturday Night through Sunday Night... Mostly cloudy with a chance
of rain. Lows 35 to 45. Highs 45 to 55.
