Travel Grants for 2009 Meetings
Travel Grants available for ASEH’s conferences in Copenhagen and Tallahassee in 2009 are described below.
Copenhagen Conference Grants
ASEH's executive committee voted to use two travel grants of $1,000 each in 2009 for the Copenhagen conference (August 2009). If you are presenting at the meeting in Copenhagen and would like to apply for one of these grants, please provide the following items:
Brief vita or resume (two pages);
- One-page statement outlining your interest an objectives in attending the world congress in Copenhagen, and your paper title, if you are presenting research;
- Specify all sources of funding received already or applied for

Tallahassee Conference Grants
ASEH wishes to encourage graduate students and low-income, international, and minority scholars to attend its conference in Tallahassee in February 2009. The following grants will be available:
- 7 travel grants of $500 each for graduate students and low-income and international scholars who are presenting research at the meeting in Tallahassee
- Minority travel grant for minority/non-white scholars from North America, Mexico, and the Caribbean to attend the meeting in Tallahassee
If you are interested in applying for one of these grants, please provide the following items:
- Brief vita or resume (two pages);
- One-page statement outlining your interest an objectives in attending the ASEH conference, and your paper title, if you are presenting research;
- Specify all sources of funding received already or applied for;
- Specify which of the grants listed above you are seeking.
