Employment Network Fact Sheet |
Should my organization become an Employment Network (EN)?If you are already in the business of helping people with disabilities find work, or if your company is interested in hiring and using the abilities of people with disabilities, you should consider becoming an EN. An EN provides employment and other support services to Ticket holders. An EN may be a single provider of such services, or a partnership among organizations combining their resources into a single entity. ENs offer one or more services such as: job readiness and work-skills assessment; career counseling; employment placement; internships and apprenticeships; vocational rehabilitation; job coaching; transportation; and, other supports. As part of the Ticket to Work program, the Ticket holder and the EN negotiate employment services, vocational rehabilitation services and training, or other supportive service as determined by the person’s individual and specific needs. ENs are paid based on milestones and outcomes achieved. Go to the EN Payment System. Examples of organizations that may become ENs include but are not limited to:
