Healthy Kids Learn Better - www.hklb.org
Healthy Kids Learn Better is a way of forming school-community partnerships that address kids' physical, social and emotional needs, improving their potential to learn. Supporting kids' achievements and addressing health issues such as hunger, depression, stress, harassment, abuse, substance abuse, unintended pregnancy, disordered eating, unsafe living conditions and obesity can greatly improve their ability to learn.

Office of Family Health (OFH) Nutrition and Physical Activity Workgroup
In keeping with the mission to protect and promote the health and well-being of Oregonians, the Department of Human Services, Health Services, Office of Family Health (OFH) is working to address the ongoing and emerging issues in the area of nutrition and physical activity in a comprehensive, coordinated and collaborative manner.

The goals and objectives within the OFH Nutrition and Physical Activity plan will be achieved by coordinating across all OFH programs, which include: Other partners include the Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention program, the Nutrition Council of Oregon, the Oregon Coalition to Promote Physical Activity, and the Portland State Office Building's Wellness and Cafeteria committees.
