Program Priorities
Oregon's Heart Disease and Stroke Program priorities, as determined by the Unitied States Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, include:

* Controlling high blood pressure and cholesterol

* Recognizing the signs and symptoms of heart attack and stroke and taking appropriate actions

* Improving emergency response

* Eliminating health disparities between population groups
