August 27, 2008 - Historical Graphical River Forecasts - Verification graphics of the CNRFC River Guidance "Flood Forecast Points" are now available. The database that archives historical hydrologic forecasts was established in January 2003. To create your graphic, visit our Historical Graphical River Forecast Interface or select a location from the map below and use the date selector on the particular graphical river forecast.
August 22, 2008 - Hydrology Program Customer Satisfaction Survey - The National Weather Service will be conducting a nationwide Hydrology Program Customer Satisfaction Survey and would appreciate your input. The online survey will be available for a 5-week period beginning August 19th (Ending September 23rd). We look forward to hearing from you!

Welcome to the web site of the California Nevada River Forecast Center. The CNRFC is one of 13 National Weather Service River
Forecast Centers in the United States. The CNRFC has hydrologic forecast responsibility for California, most of Nevada, and a portion of southern
Oregon. Our office is colocated with the Sacramento NWS Forecast Office, the California Department of Water Resources, and
the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
Our web site serves two purposes:
- Share hydrologic information with our users, including NWS Forecast Offices within our area of responsibility.
- Provide the CNRFC staff with a convenient method to monitor hydrologic and weather conditions.
