Mo's Restaurants Donates meals for Salem area homeless

Following the Mobilization Ceremony for the 41st Brigade Team on Saturday, Feb. 4 2006 in which Mo's Restaurants from the Oregon Coast provided Bread bowls of chowder and shrimp cocktails for all the soldiers, families, friends and supporters, Mo's has food remaining. Knowing that the recent severe weather would fill the shelters in the area, they have donated the remaining chowder, bread bowls and shrimp to the Salvation Army Shelter in Salem.

The Salvation Army is currently in the process of picking up these food items from the Anderson Readiness Center in Salem, Ore. There is enough food remaining to feed hundreds of the cities less fortunate.

Mo's Restaurant's General Manager, Peggy Preisz and her entire staff volunteered their time and efforts for this event and are very excited to be able to also take care of our local area who find themselves in need of a hot meal.

You can contact Peggy Preisz at 541-921-1862 for further comment.
