Brig. Gen. Pritt transfers authority of CJTF Phoenix to the South Carolina National Guard
In a ceremony held on May 28, 2007, South Carolina officially receives authority for Combined Joint Force Phoenix in Afghanistan. This marks the end of the deployment for the men and women from the 41st Brigade Combat Team of the Oregon Army National Guard.
Soldiers will be returning to Oregon after completion of their outprocessing at Ft. Carson, Colo. This is being conducted on a rotation basis as the soldiers are leaving Afghanistan in many rotations.
