Oregon Air National Guard F-15s to do flyover at Camp Rosenbaum on the Oregon coast Tuesday July 26

On Tuesday, July 26 at approximately 12:45 P.M., two F-15 Eagles will do a flyover at Camp Rosenbaum on the Oregon Coast.

As part of their training, the two jets will do several passes over the Rilea Training Site, also commemorating the 35th Annual Camp Rosenbaum.

Camp Rosenbaum is a non-profit organization that is chartered with helping Oregon's youth since 1970. The annual event held on the Oregon coast has been nationally recognized, and is a model for other states' youth programs. Children attending the camp are taught the values of staying in school, avoiding drugs, team-building and good citizenship, while at the same time instilled with hope of a better future for themselves and their families.

Organized by volunteer members from the Oregon National Guard, public safety organizations throughout Oregon, and several housing authorities throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington State, the camp hosts approximately 160 "at-risk" youth, ages 9-11 for a week on Oregon's picturesque northern coast.

Anyone interested in visiting Camp Rosenbaum throughout the week are encouraged to contact Tech. Sgt. Nick Choy at 503-784-9295.

Throughout the week, organizers and counselors at the camp will be available for media interviews.
