Army Guard launches Blackhawk Helicopter to Cascade Locks
 
One UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter is departing from the Army Aviation Support Facility in Salem, Ore. They are enroute to the lower Punch Bowl Area near Cascade Locks.
 
A male reported to be in his early 20's jumped off a cliff into the waterfall area and has sustained a back injury. The ground crew will ready to patient for lift into the helicopter. The patient will then be transported to Legacy Emmanuel Hospital for continuing treatment.
 
Piloting the aircraft are Chief Warrant Officer 4 Rick Chagnon, with co-pilot of Chief Warrant Officer 2 Jack WEber. Crew chief is Sgt Scott Dye and flight medic of Sgt. Mike Pringle.
