Transtoasters Toastmasters
Mission
The mission of Transtoasters is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
 
Toastmasters International is the leading movement devoted to making effective oral communication a worldwide reality. Through its member clubs, Toastmasters International helps men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening and thinking – vital skills that promote self-actualization, enhance leadership, foster human understanding, and contribute to the betterment of mankind.
 
How can Toastmasters help you 

Open House - Sept. 25
Interested in learning how to improve your communication skills? The Transtoasters chapter of Toastmasters International is hosting an open house on Sept. 25 from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 122 of the ODOT Building on the Capital Mall in Salem. Refreshments will be provided.
 
During the Open House, Janet Jackson, Toastmasters District 7 Area 43 Governor, will be giving a speech titled "Speaking in a safe place." Jackson is the owner and operator of Jan Jackson Travel and has traveled all over the world.
