A woodland scene
Historical Site Preservation
A cultural artifact from one of Oregon's forests
The cultural resource management strategies  for Oregon’s State Forests recognize that cultural resources, such as historic sites, relics, and structures, are a public resource and provide important clues to the historic use of State Forest lands.

A cultural resource management program has been developed to meet both legal protection mandates and internal protection priorities

If you wish to share information about a cultural resource on State Forests, contact the districts in which the site located. Or you can contact the Oregon Department of Forestry’s Salem Headquarters.
