North American Regional Reanalysis (NARR)

To use your own date file for the daily composites.
  1. Create date file. Format is
    #ndays
    yyyymmdd
    yyyymmdd
    yyyymmdd
    eg.
    3
    19990101
    19990102
    19990103
  2. ftp date file:

    anonymous ftp to ftp.cdc.noaa.gov. cd to /Public/incoming/dates. Then, "put" file in directory. File needs to be TEXT

  3. On composite page, type in /Public/incoming/dates/yourfilename for "file with dates option.
    4. Typos will result in errors as well as dates that don't exist.
