Explanations of the MOS Products:
The Short-range GFS-Based MAV MOS Guidance
is available every 3 hours for projections from 6 through 72 hours in
advance for temperature, dew-point temperature, max/min temperature, wind
speed and direction, cloud amount and ceiling height, visibility and obstruction to visibility,
probability of thunderstorms, probability of precipitation, and precipitation type.
The Extended-range GFS-Based MEX MOS Guidance
is available for projections of 24 through 192 hours in advance
for temperature, dew-point, max/min temperature,
PoP and QPF, cloud cover and precipitaiton type.
