Cape May Temporary Housing

Location: Coast Guard Training Center, Cape May, NJ.

Season of Operation: Year round.

Description: Temporary housing for Coast Guard personnel in route for permanent change of station (PCS) to or from Cape May areas.

Facilities: 6, 2-bedroom units.

Activities: Gymnasium, swimming, tennis, fishing, boating, volleyball, softball, a picnic pavilion, and a Coast Guard Exchange.

Recreation Equipment Available: Canoes, sailboat, power boat, campers, camping equipment, and sporting equipment.

Reservations: Reservations are required and can only be made by application. Reservations should be made as early as possible and must be confirmed 48 hours prior to arrival. Payment is required upon checkout. The following are the maximum lengths of stay allowed: Personnel on PCS orders to Cape May area units – 30 days; departing PCS from Cape May, those on leave or house hunting in Cape May area – 7 days. Those on leave are required to vacate housing within 24 hours for personnel on PCS orders. For an application or additional information, contact:

Driving Instructions: Take southern most exit (Cape May, NJ) off Garden State Parkway and travel south for approximately one mile. Follow the signs to the Coast Guard Training Center. Inquire at main gate.
