Employment by Occupation
The BLS itself prepares projections only for the Nation as a whole. However, projections of occupational employment are prepared by each State separately, using input from the BLS National projections. Projected employment growth for an occupation can be compared among States or to compare projected employment growth among occupations within a single State.

Projected estimates of the civillian labor force 10 years into future. Data includes retention rates, participation rates, as well as population size. Projected data is broken down in varying ways by sex, age, race, and ethinic origin.
