TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
Food Safety Risk Assessment predicts the likelihood of harm resulting from exposure to chemical, microbial and physical agents in the diet.
The Joint Institute for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (JIFSAN) offers a Food Safety Risk Assessment course online Oct. 24, 2008. Online courses provide the opportunity to continue your training at the location and time of day convenient for you.
Learn to describe the fundamental reasons for doing risk analysis; identify key developments in the role of risk assessment in international food safety; examine differences in chemical and microbial risk assessment; and outline the conduct of a food safety risk assessment using one of the models presented in the course.
