Frequently Asked Questions

Are meals included with the purchase of a conference registration?

Yes, the conference registration fee includes all scheduled meals, which include Wednesday dinner, Thursday breakfast, lunch and dinner, Friday breakfast and lunch, and Saturday breakfast, lunch and closing banquet.

Can non-conference participants attend the closing banquet on Saturday?

Yes, you will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets for the closing banquet on-site.

Can I purchase a single day conference registration?

No, single-day conference registrations are not available. The full conference registration fee must be paid in order to attend any of the sessions.

Can my family and/or friends attend my poster/oral presentation?

Yes. We encourage family support of your presentations, however, a written request must be submitted prior to the conference which includes the name of the person you wish to attend your presentation, and the date and time of your presentation. All requests must be sent to abrcms@asmusa.org. ABRCMS staff will review all requests and make decisions prior to the conference.

What airport should I fly into?

Does the conference provide any transportation from the airport to the hotel or convention center?

No, all attendees must provide their own transportation from the airport and back. Information on bus, taxi and shuttle services from all airports can be found at http://www.abrcms.org/travel.html

Does ABRCMS coordinate roommate assignments?

No, ABRCMS staff will not coordinate the assignment of roommates for the conference. All attendees are responsible for making their own housing arrangements. Official conference hotels can be found at http://www.abrcms.org/page03b.html

Where will the conference sessions be held?

All sessions, including the posters and exhibits, will be at the Veracruz Hall at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
