New County Legislator Tom Mazur is married with four children and lives in the Town Park area of Cheektowaga.
He has a tremendous amount of government service under his belt: he was the Assistant Deputy Erie County Clerk in the early 1980s, an Erie County Legislator from 1988-93, an Assistant Academic Dean/ Social Sciences at Erie Community College and a Town Councilmemeber in Cheektowaga from 1998-2005.
He was educated at the University of Buffalo with a bachelor of arts degree in Sociology and a master of arts degree in Humanities. He is active with his church as a Eucharistic and Hospital minister and volunteers his time as president of the Board of Directors at Austistic Services Inc. Tom loves to read, shoot photos, keep a journal, write poetry and walk his dogs at 6 a.m. every morning. He loves to dialogue and he will meet you at your place to discuss concerns and issues.
