10 Year Timeline

FEET FIRST TURNED 10!

Thanks to the close to 150 people who came out to celebrate our first 10 years on October 11th, 2011. We wish to send a special thanks to Matt Lerner of Walk Score for reflecting on the value of walkable communities and setting the tone for a fun filled night. If you are looking to complete your Silent Auction transaction please email our Development Officer at lee@feetfirst.org.

Thanks to our sponsors for helping us create a special celebration:
Harmon Brewery, Swifty Printing and Metropolitan Market.

Our quarterly Walk & Talks

Our quarterly Walk & Talks are led by local leaders in neighborhoods going through transition. Perhaps it's a viaduct being replaced, new zoning and bus rapid transit, or a new housing development, our Walk & Talks give you a new perspective on the ins and outs of how an area becomes more walkable.

Take a look at our past Walk & Talk in West Seattle around the Triangle with Seattle Councilmember Tom Rasmussen or our Walk & Talk along the waterfront led by Seattle Councilmember Sally Bagshaw.

Encouraging Walkable Communities

Seattle City Council candidates respond to Feet First's questionnaire.

Take a look at our Feet First Agenda. Cities across the state are taking steps to make the places where people live, work and play easier to get to on foot. The City of Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond and Seattle have each met all of the outlined initiatives, which allows them to be a recognized
Feet First Agenda City.

This program is just another way we promote walkable communities. Help us create a more walkable community where you live by joining Feet First today.
