Funding
WERF funds water quality research on behalf of its subscribers, and
facilitates collaboration among organizations seeking funding partners
for high-priority issues. WERF awards funding through a competitive
process, and coordinates funding under contract through a
staff-assigned program manager. All qualified
entities — including international organizations and
disadvantaged business enterprises — are encouraged to
submit research proposals.

February 11, 2009.
The Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF) is seeking a contractor
to upgrade the website for the National Decentralized Water Resources
Capacity Development Project (NDWRCDP): www.ndwrcdp.org. The NDWRCDP is
a cooperative research effort on decentralized wastewater (e.g. septic
tanks) and stormwater systems. The project is funded by a grant
from U.S. EPA which is currently being administered and managed by
WERF.
