The Resource Center is a one-stop resource for seniors, people with disabilities and their families, that provides information and assistance on everything from adaptive clothing to volunteer opportunities, from physical fitness to hospice care. Staff can answer questions and help you gain access to: insurance; benefits and prescription drug assistance; transportation; legal services; nursing home quality of care and complaints; care coordination and management; attendant services; and caregiver resources. The resource center integrates several existing Aging and Long-Term Services Department programs—its benefits and counseling program, Seniors Saving Medicare, MEDBANK, and portions of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. |
