U.S. Ambassador Announces Humanitarian Relief to Bihar Flood Victims

NEW DELHI – U.S. Ambassador to India David C. Mulford today announced that the United States will contribute Rs. 40 lakhs (USD 100,000) to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund and Catholic Relief Services for assistance to victims of the recent floods in Bihar.
On behalf of the American people, Ambassador Mulford offered his condolences to the families of those killed in the disaster and his government's willingness to provide further support as needed.
