Jan. 31, 2008 Roof collapse forces closure of King County Solid Waste Division's Skykomish Drop Box
Heavy snow caused the collapse of a roof at King County Solid Waste
Division's Skykomish disposal site this afternoon, forcing the
indefinite closure of the Skykomish Drop Box.
On
Friday, inspectors will survey and evaluate the damage to the facility
located at 74324 NE Old Cascade Highway, in Skykomish.
Customers
can use Snohomish County's Sultan Drop Box, at 33014 Cascade View
Drive, in Sultan which is open Mon-Fri, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sat-Sun,
