Section 508: Creating Accessible Web Pages

What is Section 508, and how does it affect you, the NPS Web Author? Take a few moments to browse through these pages. You'll find that making your designs accessible to the broadest possible audience, including people with disabilities,
is not as difficult as you think.

Scattered throughout these pages are tips, tricks, tools and a
few giggles to inspire you as you create your designs.

All web pages published by the NPS (on the Internet or
on Intranets) must now meet the guidelines of Section
508. It's not a choice, it's a reasonable obligation...

...and it's the right thing to do.

If you need additional help, please feel free to contact
Wyndeth Davis
, or your local Web Coordinator for assistance.
