U.S. Embassy Antananarivo, with the Collaboration of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, Announces Launch of the Democracy Video Challenge

U.S. Ambassador Niels Marquardt is leading an American/Malagasy delegation to Fianarantsoa in celebration of more than a decade of U.S.-Malagasy partnership in and around the city of Fianarantsoa.... see more The U.S. Ambassador R. Niels Marquardt swore-in thirty Peace Corps Volunteers on Tuesday April 29th, 2008 at the Botanical and Zoological Park of Tsimbazaza. Of these 30 volunteers, five will be assigned to Peace Corps Madagascar’s newest program: the Small Enterprise Development (SED) program. The other 25 will be assigned to Environment Program. Free Milk for Schoolchildren in 67 Schools around Madagascar.
On Tuesday, April 8th, 2008 Ambassador Niels Marquardt, Scott Sindelar, Agriculture Counselor, USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) and the Minister of Agriculture Marius Ratolojanahary traveled to Ambatomanga in the region of Analamanga to visit three elementary schools and a small dairy processing facility.... see more « U.S. Mission Blood Drive »
