Advancing New Technologies in Restoration
The NOAA Restoration Research Program advances the
science of restoration ecology in coastal and marine
habitats. NOAA Fisheries Science Center and Habitat
Conservation staff, working in partnership with the
scientific community, provide expertise in developing
sound, efficient and cost-effective restoration techniques.

habitats
- Identifying project success criteria and monitoring
protocols
- Improving restoration and monitoring methodology
- Developing and testing innovative restoration methods
