Register of Officers
The Register of Officers and the Register of Reserve Officers is Commandant Instruction Manual 1427(series) and they provide a snapshot of the officer corps as of 01 January of the year of the Register. Both Registers are published once a year and Direct Access provides the real time data.
The Register of Officers reflects the order of precedence of officers as listed in the Active Duty Promotion List (ADPL). It also includes listing of other active duty and retired officers.
The Register of Reserve Officers reflects the order of precedence of officers in the Coast Guard Reserve Inactive Duty Promotion List (IDPL). It also includes listings of Reserve officers in an inactive or retired status.
Please note that these document as published here are static and will not reflect any changes that are made during the year. The ADPL and IDPL are constantly changing due to promotions, separations and new accessions. Making even minor changes here would be a daily event and is one of the reasons we have Direct Access manage that process. EAD Reserve officers may not appear in the register if they were not on EAD on 01 January.
