Gate Procedure

  1. 100% ID check - all gates. NNMC staff require Command ID plus second ID (DoD preferred).
  2. Dim head lights when approaching the gate before dawn or after dusk.
  3. Vehicles without military stickers, including taxicabs, will be searched, even if the occupant(s) has/have military IDs.
  4. Company reps should be placed on a Gate access list by the official NNMC department/official requesting the rep's visit.
  5. Other random security measures may be employed.
  6. Please allow extra time to report to work or an appointment.

Commercial Traffic Entry

5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Navy Lodge gate at Grier Rd. from Jones Bridge Rd.
3:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. - South (Main) Gate on Rockville Pike.
