Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs The NIH welcomes grant applications from small businesses in any biomedical or behavioral research area as described in the solicitations below. Support under the SBIR program is normally provided for 6 months/$100,000 for Phase I, and 2 years/$500,000 for Phase II. However, applicants may propose longer periods of time and greater amounts of funds necessary for completion of the project. |
